The Light Academy Nursery and Primary School community came alive with color, music, and excitement during this year’s Cultural Day Celebration. The event, held at the school grounds, showcased Uganda’s rich cultural diversity and the beauty of unity in diversity.

Students dressed in traditional attire representing different regions of Uganda and other cultures around the world. They presented songs, dances, poems, and skits that highlighted values such as respect, teamwork, and identity. The performances not only entertained but also educated the audience on the importance of preserving cultural heritage.

The Headteacher commended both students and teachers for their creativity and effort in organizing such a vibrant event. She encouraged learners to always take pride in their culture while embracing others with understanding and respect. Parents who attended expressed joy and appreciation for the initiative, noting that it was a wonderful way to blend learning with fun.

The day ended with smiles, laughter, and a shared sense of pride as everyone celebrated the spirit of togetherness that defines the Light Academy community.
