Welcome to Light Academy Nursery & Primary School Admissions Office. The school admits pupils from different parts of the world. The environment is purely international, catering for the diverse educational and cultural background of the pupils.
We follow the Uganda National Curriculum throughout the Nursery and Primary Levels with an integrated modern approach that caters for each child’s individual educational needs.
Placement is basically dependent on the child’s age and academic level. However, if deemed necessary other aspects may have to be considered as well.

Procedure of Enrollment

Application
All applications are required to be made in writing on the school’s prescribed application forms. Applications are only processed if all required documentation is attached, and the full, prescribed application forms are completed, as well as the required documents submitted, and the fees are paid to either the School Finance.

Entrance Assessment/Scholarship
All Primary School applicants will be assessed by a brief Evaluation Test. Learners will be assessed in the core subjects of English and Mathematics.

2. Pupil`s Health Record Form
3. Photocopy of Academic Report for two most recent terms from the previous school.
4. Financial Agreement
5. 3 passport size photographs for the child and 2 for the parents/guardians.
6. Photocopy of Birth Certificate.
7. Photocopy of Passport or Travel documents (for foreign Pupils)
8. Payment of Admission Fee

Interview
An interview is conducted with both parent/guardian and Learner. Dates for the interviews will be confirmed by the school’s administration.

Placement
Placement is confirmed by the school after the interview, and the admission fee is paid .
