The Candidate Section is one of the most significant milestones in a child’s educational journey at Light Academy. In Primary Seven, our focus is on preparing pupils for the Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) and for the transition to secondary school.

We provide intensive academic support, including revision programs, group discussions, and exam coaching sessions, to ensure pupils gain mastery of the curriculum. Teachers offer close mentorship, guiding learners in time management, study skills, and exam techniques that boost both confidence and performance.

At this stage, character development is just as important as academics. Pupils are encouraged to be self-disciplined, resilient, and responsible, qualities that will serve them well in secondary school and beyond. Over the years, our P.7 candidates have consistently performed excellently in the PLE, securing placements in some of the most respected secondary schools in the country.
