TECHNOLOGY EVIDENTLY SHOWS AS PUPILS SUCCESS
Turkish Light Academy Primary School Uganda Awarded with a bronze medal and 100 $ from Turkey in Ankara 10TH international ICT competition EBIKO just recently convened at AHMET ULUSOY SCIENCE SCHOOLS in Turkey.
Kampala’s own Turkish Light Academy Primary School Uganda was in attendance as part of their diligence to go beyond the classroom in their academic endeavours. EBIKO is an international competition which aims to bring together likeminded students who have a drive and passion in ICT.
The one delegate for Turkish Light Academy Primary School Uganda presented his project National Parks in Uganda regarding Tourism for Web site. The competitions took place on Monday 12th May 2014. Over 110 schools from 23 countries were represented. The competitions aims are to create dialogue and multicultural aspect amongst participating pupils and teachers. With so many people present and involved in the competitions it is an auxiliary aim of its founders to have visitors build bridges and expand their reach socially and technologically, as well as academically. Being that the competitions have expanded to each continent the reach and progress of the projects introduced at EBIKO have only become more advanced. Turkish Light Academy Primary School Uganda looks forward to future endeavours into ICT competitions and hopes to improve upon its performance in other upcoming competitions.
