Fruits and vegetables are important foods to include in healthy diets but many children and adults eat less than the recommended 5 or more meals per day. Fruits and vegetable are rich in Vitamins, Minerals and Fibres which are all necessary for their growth. packed with lots of vitamins and nutrients. They are also a great source of fiber which helps them feel full.
At light academy nursery and primary School, our pupils of Middle and Top class had an exciting experience of vegetable and fruit tasting, as we introduced them to a number of new vegetables and fruits adding on their daily diet. The children were amazed by the many new different items that were tasted.
